Boss cleared of health spa grope claim

-

A HEALTH spa boss was yesterday cleared of drunkenly groping a male customer while wearing a bikini.

Kerry Brocklebank had been accused of sexually assaulting the runner as he waited for a sports massage.

The alleged victim had claimed her breasts were “within inches of his face” as she rubbed oil into his body at the spa in Huntingdon, Cambs.

He told a court: “I felt violated, angry.” Ms Brocklebank, 43, had admitted being “tipsy” while in her swimsuit at the time but insisted she only touched his calf muscles, which are not an “erogenous sexual zone”.

She accused the man of “fabricating” the incident to get compensation.

And a jury at Cambridge crown court took less than three hours to find her not guilty of sexual assault, common assault and attempting to pervert justice. Ms Brocklebank last night declined to comment on her victory.
