Pointless scores 200 more shows
Alexander Armstrong and Richard Osman are signed up for 204 more episodes of Pointless.
They will front 165 of the weekday 5.15pm shows and 39 of the primetime celebrity versions, taking the quiz up to its 10th anniversary in 2019. It has been the highest-rated quiz show across all channels in the past 12 months.
Armstrong said: “I cannot tell you how much I adore hosting Pointless and I’m thrilled the BBC commissioned us to produce 200 more episodes. I can’t wait to meet a whole host of contenders.”
Osman added: “It is such a treat to deliver a whole host of brand new facts and figures for our fantastic viewers.”
