Half plan for electric cars

NEARLY half of motorists believe they will buy an electric car in the next decade, a survey shows.

One in 10 were “seriously considering” it, with one in five avoiding buying diesel cars due to emissions taxes.

Sainsbury’s Bank Loans said: “Potential future rules are a deterrent to diesel.”
