Burst bag of drugs killed law student
A “GIFTED” law student died 30 minutes after a bag of ecstasy burst in her stomach, an inquest heard.
Rebecca Brock, 18, was found in a pool of blood in her hotel room in Ibiza in September 2015. She had twice a normally fatal dose of the drug in her system.
The Nottingham inquest heard she had five bags in her stomach.
But her mother Margo Brock believes she may have been forced to down the packages as she was unable to swallow tablets.
Rebecca, from Carlton, Notts, a dual British and Dutch national, was on her third trip to Ibiza.
Coroner Mairin Casey said: “How these bags were in her stomach we will never know.”
She recorded the cause of death as “drug related”.
