‘Cannon Run’ three go free
THREE Brits who spent three months locked up in Switzerland for speeding during a “Cannon Run” tour have been freed.
Julian Wilson, 40, Adrian Harrold, 45, and David Bentley, 49, were driving Nissan GT-Rs from Maidstone to Monaco when they were arrested in June.
Prosecutors said they were doing almost 110mph on a 75mph road.
The Cannon Run event website said: “Fantastic motoring news. The GTR Boys have been released.”
