Women shouldn’t worry about having kids over 40, the Royal College of Midwives has said.

Hold on… just a couple of years ago we were being lectured about not taking fertility for granted and that we should crack on conceiving at top speed before everything shriveled up.

And before that, we were being told if we wanted to get a decent job we needed to hold off having kids.

So how about this for some advice… women should be encouraged to do what the hell they want and actually they’ll work through their own decisions for themselves.
