BROOKLYN GUN GAFFE

What on earth possessed Brooklyn Beckham to pose during a photo session holding an automatic handgun (Mirror, Sept 2)? What was he thinking of? Did he think it would make him look cool? He comes across as a youth trying to look like a tough guy, but it takes more than a gun to fit that bill. Brian Davies, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk I had to laugh at TUC boss Frances O’Grady saying workplace robots should mean we get to retire early (Mirror, Sept 4). When I was working many years ago, we were told computers and automation would mean a shorter working week.

After the automation, staff lost jobs and I still had to work until 65.
