JUSTIN’S CHASING $10M POT

RICH PICKINGS FOR US STAR

- BY NEIL McLEMAN

JUSTIN THOMAS is targeting two more wins – and the US$10million FedEx Cup bonus – after his fifth victory of the season at the Dell Technologies Championship.

The US PGA champion (above) started the year at world No.34 but he is up to No.4 after his three-shot win over his pal Jordan Spieth in Boston.

Since 1960, only Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods, Spieth and now Thomas have won five PGA Tour titles including a Major before the age of 25. “We’ve had a great year,” said the 24-year-old.

“I have two events left, two more opportunities to win. And I’d love to make it six or seven wins.”

The top 70 in the rankings advance to the BMW Championships in Illinois next week before the top 30 make the Tour Championships.

New world No.5 Jon Rahm has overtaken Rory McIlroy as the top-ranked European.
