SUPPORT worker Mishi, 34, is on staff at a care home for people with mental health issues.

But she and her IT worker husband have trouble meeting basic household expenses.

The pair from Watford, Herts, skip meals so their three-year-old son can eat, and Mishi sold a gold chain from her mum to pay rent.

She said: “If someone handed us a bill out of the blue we would not be able to pay it. We both work. It shouldn’t be this hard.”
