A BLOOMING FRIENDSHIP

-

HARRY and Tony Bloom were unlikely business partners.

Tell-like-it-is Harry and the quiet, reclusive Bloom first shook hands in 1996 and made a fortune together until a row over a racehorse they owned jointly.

Bloom, nicknamed ‘The Lizard’, studied maths at university and worked as a City trader before he became a professional gambler.

“To win at gambling, you have to have the ability to adapt and nobody does that better than The Lizard. He finds a way to make any game pay,” said Harry.
