Jones & Bailly are Swiss miss
MANCHESTER UNITED will be without suspended central defenders Phil Jones and Eric Bailly against Basel in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Jones will sit out the game after United withdrew their appeal over his two-match European ban, awarded because he abused an official after the Europa League Final in May.
And Bailly finishes a three-match ban against the Swiss for his sending off in the Europa League semi-final second-leg win over Celta Vigo.
Bailly was banned for the final, and he and Jones both missed the Reds’ 2-1 Super Cup loss to Real Madrid.
