Our £1m Lotto win cares for our sick baby

Couple saved from brink of despair

- BY LOUIE SMITH

A COUPLE who faced financial ruin as they struggled to care for their sick baby have won £1million on the lottery.

Adam and Amy Pryor’s eight-month-old daughter Charlotte needs looking after round the clock due to life-changing health problems.

Nursery manager Amy, 28, had just given up her job to focus on her. Andy, 33, was working extra overtime to fund the tot’s care, which included regular trips to a London hospital from their home in Maidstone, Kent. But last week they won the jackpot on the EuroMillions Millionaire Maker. Quality assurance worker Adam said: “The future was looking a bit grim. And now, when we needed it most, Lady Luck stepped in. We couldn’t be more relieved.” Amy added: “This money will mean we can do our best for Charlotte, now and for the future. The endless trips to London for hospital appointments were an expensive exercise. “Those financial considerations just won’t matter now.”
