Davies needed new challenge
DERBY defender Curtis Davies admits the time was right to quit Hull, as he prepares to face his old club tonight.
Both Davies and Tom Huddlestone swapped the Tigers for the Rams over the summer, and Davies said: “During my four years at Hull, I enjoyed every single second.
“Everyone made it easy to be at that club and enjoy it. But that was one of the reasons I felt I needed to take on a fresh challenge.
“I had some of the best times of my career at Hull, but it was time to go.”
