Rudy’s dead leg is bloody mess
RUDY GESTEDE has spent the week in hospital after a freak accident.
The Middlesbrough striker had an emergency operation on Monday night after suffering a dead leg in training. It would not stop bleeding and his leg ballooned in size. Gestede could now be out for four games.
Boss Garry Monk said: “I’ve seen many dead legs, but this was a freak one, a re-bleed. After compression, it goes back to normal, but it bled again.
“He is still remaining in hospital to allow the swelling to go down.”
Boro face Bolton tomorrow.
