MEL B puts a brave face on her divorce as she steps out with a fresh new look.

The star’s shorter haircut revealed taut skin and a seemingly changed profile – prompting speculation she may have had some work done amid her traumatic split from Stephen Belafonte.

The Spice Girl, 42, had not a wrinkle in sight when pictured in Beverly Hills last week.

The America’s Got Talent judge had already caused speculation about possible procedures on her return to the set of the show in the summer, after she allegedly began dating married police officer Ryan Lawrence, 10 years her junior.

YOUNGER

Sources told the Mirror: “When Mel came back after a break in filming, she looked incredible. She’s well known for taking care of herself but she looks so much younger now.

“We’ve seen Ryan on set. He’s incredibly handsome.

“Whatever she’s done, perhaps Mel was trying to keep up with his youthful looks.”

The singer previously denied having surgery amid claims of boob implants and a nose job.

But Harley Street surgeon Dr Munir Somji said he believed she’d had work done. He said: “In the forehead and around the eyes it would seem she’s had Botox. She also appears to have cheek fillers. Her nose could’ve been refined.”

It came as court papers filed by Mel in the on-going divorce battle claimed Belafonte, 42, and their ex-nanny Lorraine Gilles, 26, engineered a sham marriage for Gilles so the German beauty could remain in the US. The legal documents claim it allowed them to carry on an affair.

Last night Mel said she hopes the courts will reveal “the truth” after Belafonte claimed she battled booze and drug addiction.

She said: “I’ve remained silent for the sake of my children. I’ll trust the legal process to show the truth.” She was not available to comment on the surgery speculation.
