Silva’s stars looking pure gold at Saints

HORNETS BEST ALONG WITH FOXES

-

JUST like the last Rolo or Jaffa Cake, sometimes there’s something simply to good to ignore.

And that’s today’s price on Watford to win at Southampton.

Clearly a human has gone nowhere near compiling the odds for this match and allowed a computer to go rogue like HAL in a Space Odyssey 2001.

Southampton may be the home team. They may have produced Gareth Bale and Adam Lallana once upon a time.

But the Saints are a distinctly moderate team at the moment who simply cannot find the net on a regular basis.

Apart from a shock 3-2 win against one of the worst defences in the world - West Ham - the Saints have failed to score in seven of their last eight competitve games at St Mary’s.

In contrast, unbeaten Watford look a team bursting with confidence under astute new boss Marco Silva.

The computer says 5/1 with BetVictor. Don’t say no.

While we’re talking value bets, surely Leicester aren’t the worst 4/1 shot in the world to beat a Chelsea side still struggling with issues off the pitch.

And Burnley, priced up at 11/8 (BetVictor) against crisis club Palace, look another live chance tomorrow.
