The Williams’ brothers continue to take over our screens with this tense thriller starring Downton Abbey’s Joanne Froggatt.

Just like Sky Atlantic’s The Affair, we get both versions of events but from two very different perspectives.

Joanne plays Laura Nielson, a smart and dedicated teacher, not long out of a long-term relationship and unsure about getting back on the dating scene.

Andrew Earlham (Ioan Gruffudd) is the brooding widower and renowned surgeon, single dad to Luke (who is one of Laura’s students).

Andrew and Laura end up going on a date – the chemistry sizzles, both are laughing, and clearly attracted to each other. Happy days. But then we flash forward to the next morning and a text from Andrew to Laura: “What an amazing night x” sees Laura run into the shower crying – and she later tells her sister he raped her.

So who is telling the truth? And what really happened on that night?
