Hero Corbyn has No.10 back in his sights

- PAUL ROUTLEDGE

JEREMY Corbyn will get a hero’s welcome at the TUC tomorrow.

For the first time in years, the unions and Labour leadership are marching in lock-step. “Jeremy will get a really warm welcome,” promised Frances O’Grady. “All credit to the general election campaign he ran. His manifesto was a vision of a fairer Britain with policies even a majority of Tories supported.” There is a tangible feeling of optimism, a sense that the Tories are on the ropes and a Labour government might just be within their grasp. It’s a message that Mr Corbyn will reinforce tomorrow.

All that’s needed, says posties’ leader Dave Ward is “time, just time”.
