Give hound heroes TV star recognition

Congratulations to the Mirror and the RSPCA on your Animal Hero Awards.

It was lovely to see the photos of the celebrities with their dogs, especially Bake Off’s Candice Brown with her beautiful rescue pet Sybil (Mirror, Sept 8).

Fanastic too to see canine heroes Sherlock, Murphy and Roscoe recognised for searching for victims of the Grenfell fire.

Surely it’s time these awards were shown on TV? I think they would be a huge hit!
