Man held after Louella, 25, is found dead at music festival
THE daughter of Holby City star John Michie was found dead at a festival yesterday.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering Louella, 25. Bestival chiefs said: “We’re devastated at this tragic news.”
DEVASTATED John Michie and his family were last night trying to come to terms with the death of his youngest daughter at a music festival.
Specialist officers are supporting the Holby City star, partner Carol Fletcher and their other children Daisy and Sam after the 25-year-old’s body was found in woodland yesterday.
Police arrested a man of 28 on suspicion of murder.
The actor’s agent said in a statement: “Sadly, I can confirm the tragic death of John Michie’s daughter, Louella, at Bestival.”
The scene of the death at Lulworth Castle in Dorset was last night cordoned off as forensic officers looked for clues.
Detective Chief Inspector Sarah Derbyshire said: “Following the discovery of the woman’s body we have now launched an investigation into her death.
“We have specially trained officers supporting her family at this very difficult time.

“A postmortem will be carried out and should give us more of an indication as to the cause of her death. I would appeal to anyone with any information to contact Dorset Police.”
The festival’s organisers added: “The team at Bestival are devastated to hear about this tragic news. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the woman’s family and friends.”
The tragedy comes just days after former Taggart and Corrie actor John spoke of his love of annual family holidays with Carol, their daughters and son.
The 66-year-old, who plays ruthless neurosurgeon Guy Self in BBC medical drama Holby, said: “We all go to the same campsite in Spain, we’ve been going to since the kids were little. We have a great time.”
Dancer Louella is believed to have lived in North London with her dad. Stylist Daisy, 27, and music video director Sam, 26, are said to have left home.
John and Carol have been together for 30 years after meeting on a Walker’s crisps ad.
He recently filmed his final scenes in Holby. Before joining the show, John played Corrie’s Karl Munro in a plot that ended with him torching the Rovers.
But his role as DI Robbie Ross in Taggart shot him to fame.
