Pakistan is back on map

-

PAUL COLLINGWOOD will play international cricket at the age of 41 when it returns to Pakistan for the first time in nearly a decade today.

A World XI, including England’s Collingwood, Hashim Amla and Faf du Plessis, will play the first of three T20 matches in Lahore.

Each foreign player is understood to be receiving around £75,000 for the first tour there since the Sri Lankan team bus was attacked by terrorists in 2009.

Collingwood said: “Hopefully this series can be a significant step in helping Pakistan to host internationals again.”
