DIOGO JOTA insists Wolves’ foreign players are steeled for the long road ahead in their promotion bid.

Wanderers lie third in the table ahead of Bristol City’s visit tonight.

Portuguese duo Jota, on loan from Atletico Madrid, and Championship record signing Ruben Neves have hit the ground running.

And Jota is confident they are ready to slog through the English winter.

“Everyone is happy and confident after the start we’ve made but we know we need to keep working hard because there’s still a long way to go,” said Jota (above). “We’re ready for that and the other conditions.

“The football here is different to what I’m used to but it’s not a problem because we’re adaptable.”
