Harry: I’ll quit if we keep losing
Leeds v Birmingham Kick-off 7.45pm
HARRY REDKNAPP would quit Birmingham if he felt they faced another season-long struggle.
The veteran boss, 70, has brought in 14 new players after keeping City up on the final day of last season. He gave six debuts in the 1-0 defeat at Norwich in 21st-placed Birmingham’s fourth successive reverse.
Before tonight’s trip to Leeds, Redknapp (above) said: “If I hadn’t have got these players in I might have thought, ‘I can’t do anything with this lot’. I want to be successful.
“I had a terrible weekend – it is ruined if you get beat, it is no fun. You think that you shouldn’t be doing this at my stage in life.
“But I look at this squad and think I have a chance.”
