STARS ALL AT SEA

Tonight sees the start of the fifth series of Taskmaster on Dave, fronted by Greg Davies, with some cracking contestants. The show’s creator and general dogsbody, Alex Horne, offered us a few teasers.

He told us: “It is a mixture of very simple tasks – make Marmite, and the best Marmite wins and you have got 20 minutes.

“I enjoy ones like that, seeing someone like Bob Mortimer trying to work it out. He was pretty sure it involved a lot of beef, so he tries to distil a cow.”

We can also reveal there is a task called Give Alex A Special Hug, which might explain this ludicrous photo. Alex adds: “One thing that is different this year is we went to a beach, so we have got some nice tasks on location involving water and sand.”
