With reference to the 62-year-old woman who is having a relationship with her much younger builder – why do her children automatically jump to the conclusion that he’s after her money? (Dear Coleen, August 29).

As she says in her letter, this guy is lovely, funny and they get on really well as a couple.

I know several people with younger lovers and it can be a really positive match and work out well.
