Goals has struck a deal with Manchester City’s owners to turbocharge US expansion. City Football Group, which also owns the New York Football Club, is pumping £12million into the business. It’s also allowing Goals to use its brands in the US as part of a joint venture. The move came as Goals, which currently has two sites in the US and 48 here, announced a 1.6% rise in half year sales, though profits dived 26% to £2.8m.
