ROY REIGNS AT PALACE

ROY HODGSON is back at his boyhood club Crystal Palace.

The former England boss has agreed a two-year deal to replace Frank de Boer at the Premier League’s bottom club.

Croydon-born Hodgson, 70, (above) takes over from the

FROM BACK PAGE Dutchman who was sacked on Monday.

The ex-Fulham chief, who has not worked since England’s loss to Iceland at Euro 2016, will bring in coach Ray Lewington and takes training today.

Hodgson said: “This is the club of my boyhood and I remember watching from the Holmesdale Road end which gave me such fond memories.

“I had dreams then of playing for the team and it is rewarding to find myself now at a club I loved.”
