We pay £141m for poll fiasco

THERESA May’s flawed decision to call a snap general election cost taxpayers £141million, figures show.

The Lib Dems said the total was £1.14billion with her £1billion deal to woo the DUP after she lost her Commons majority. They added: “The taxpayer is paying for May’s mistakes.”
