Punter a Bwin loser

Punter Michael Kemp bet £30 on Spurs to finish in the top four of the Premier League last season with online bookies Bwin.com.

“The bet was a winner and Bwin emailed me to confirm this, but they have refused to pay out,” he says.

The snag is that Michael accepted a free bonus when he joined Bwin, which tied him into small print.

The website told him: “The bonus and winnings of £108 were claimed back as you did not meet the release conditions prior to the expiration date.”

Bwin, which has not replied to my messages, is one of a dozen or so gambling sites run by ElectraWorks Ltd, registered in Gibraltar.
