Van Gaal’s ‘genius’ was all in vain

-

LOUIS VAN GAAL has broken his silence over being sacked by Manchester United claiming they “put his head in a noose” and placed him on the gallows.

I’m struggling to believe that. Especially when Van Gaal (right) goes on to humbly claim that the club was happy with his results before having their heads turned by former players orchestrating a lying campaign in the media about his teams playing “boring football”.

And he claimed his sacking made no sense because: “Manchester United had record financial figures in the two years that I was there.”

As I say, I can’t believe Van Gaal’s head was put in a noose. Not for a second. Because the noose has yet to be made that is big enough to take that head.
