Alert Pulis stays in Pole position

- BY JAMES NURSEY

TWO years of homework enabled Tony Pulis to snap up Grzegorz Krychowiak from Paris Saint-Germain.

Pulis took the Poland midfielder to West Brom on loan after he failed to thrive at PSG, who bought him a year earlier from Sevilla for £28million.

Baggies boss Pulis said: “I liked Grzegorz two years ago and I spoke to Steven N’Zonzi about him when he was at Sevilla. Then he went to Paris, who blew us out of the water.

“I’ve kept tabs on him since. He wasn’t playing regularly so they tend to fall off the screen, which was great for us.”
