Blame it all on me says Ron as Blues humbled
RONALD KOEMAN accused his players of lacking “passion and aggression” after an Italian horror show.
The Everton boss is under growing pressure after a three-goal demolition by Atalanta made it three heavy defeats on the spin.
Koeman, who spent £130million in the summer, said his side were not performing like a team – and accepted the blame for the defeat. “I share the fans’ anger,” he said. “We were
taught a big lesson. They showed us the passion you need when you play football.”
Koeman, whose side could not live with Atalanta dangerman Alejandro Gomez (right), went on: “I have to ask myself what I did wrong – we were not prepared for what we saw in the first half. They had more aggression and passion.
“I don’t see a team, I see 11 individual players.”
