ITV lands late Chantilly deal

ITV will show the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe from Chantilly a fortnight tomorrow after striking an 11th-hour deal with French racing chiefs France-Galop.

The news means Europe’s middle-distance championship returns to terrestrial TV after the race, dropped from its schedule by Channel 4 in 2016, was broadcast on Sky Sports.
