Dragons fire seals late win

-

CATALANS took a huge step towards Super League survival after a last-gasp win over Hull KR.

They started brightly against the promoted Robins thanks to the boot of Luke Walsh. He set up Richie Myler for the first try and then kicked a penalty goal.

But in the second half, Hull KR cut the lead to 8-6 after Will Oakes crossed. Then Chris Atkin put the Robins in front.

George Lawler made it 18-6, before Atkin nailed a drop goal.

But late tries by Iain Thornley and Brayden Wiliame saved the Dragons’ blushes to seal victory.
