Stolen goats poison fears

THIEVES who stole 11 goats could be poisoned if they try to eat them.

The animals had been treated with chemicals as they had skin parasites.

Owner Lucy Ostin, 47, said anyone eating meat from the flock could suffer swollen lymph nodes, headaches and nausea.

Ms Ostin of Lyng, in Norfolk, said: “The consequenc­es if somebody eats them could be catastroph­ic.” Norfolk Police are investigat­ing.
