Memorabilia all white by me

LEE DIXON’S coffee coaster, bearing a Ceefax image of the 1989 scoreline Liverpool 0 : 2 Arsenal (Smith 52, Thomas 90+1), got me to thinking about some of my old memorabilia and it’s amazing what you find when you have a rummage.

I’ve still got all of my contracts and a letter from Nottingham Forest boss Frank Clarke issuing a two-week fine for being late for training.

But arguably the best bit is the white FA Cup Final suit we all wore with Liverpool, which I put on not so long ago and was delighted when it still fitted.

Mind you, I did look like Kid Creole without the Coconuts.
