Wagner: No guarantee we’ll beat Eagles again
DAVID WAGNER has warned Huddersfield their 3-0 opening-day Premier League victory over Crystal Palace will count for nothing tonight. The Terriers manager said: “This is a serious
question? We have beaten them once, but that doesn’t mean we will beat them again.
“We have a chance, but how big this chance is, no one knows.
“Palace will be a different team this time because of the change of manager, but this is nothing we can influence.
“We need to make sure we perform at our best.”
Roy Hodgson will use tonight’s tie to continue assessing his Eagles squad.
The manager (left), 70, oversaw a 1-0 home defeat by Southampton in his first match and said: “I’ll have a chance on Tuesday to see a few more players.
“That was an important part when I was at Fulham.
“I had to work out who’s going to be good enough on the field, and who’s going to be ready to roll their sleeves up and die for us.”
