Brave Luiz wrist it all

DAVID LUIZ played for 45 minutes with a broken wrist during Sunday’s London derby with Arsenal.

Brazil defender Luiz crashed into advertising hoardings just before halftime at Stamford Bridge and refused to come off.

Luiz is banned for Chelsea’s next three games after being sent off in the dying moments of the game but is determined to soldier on with a splint for protection.

He is expected to carry on training as usual and is confident that he will not miss any games.
