Maybe Holby star Joe McFadden dared to dream, clicking his heels in a school musical.

Aston Merrygold was no stranger to glitter in some of those boy band outfits. And Debbie McGee must be used to a spangly cossie after being her late husband’s glamorous assistant.

But nothing could prepare them for weeks of punishing jives as they bid for the glitter ball.

If only they can stay young at heart…
