Khan wins in speech row

LONDON Mayor Sadiq Khan has won a lastminute slot to speak at Labour’s party conference after a bitter internal row.

Jeremy Corbyn is said to have changed his mind after initially blocking Mr Khan and Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham.

A source said: “We’re relaxed about it. The issue was never about personalities but giving delegates more time to debate.”
