BIG DEAL It all gets serious on Facetime ITV, 9pm

THE gang tackle a serious subject tonight, employing the show’s usual spot-on mix of drama and good humour. The issue is a pretty divisive one, and springs from a bombshell dropped by Adam’s son Matt.

BBC1, 8.30pm Previous Celebrity MasterChef champions have done pretty well after winning that swirling silver trophy.

Among others, Nadia Sawalha presents cookery shows and writes a column for the Mirror, and Lisa Faulkner arguably did even better, meeting her partner, judge John Torode. So who knows what delights could await this year’s prize winner?

Presenters Ulrika Jonsson and Angellica Bell, and DJ Dev Griffin are the three finalists, having survived a gruelling six weeks of endless challenges.

But it’s about to get so much harder in the final push to the finish line – it’s the dreaded Chef’s Table. Otherwise known as the Worst Dinner Guests Ever.

Among them Jason Atherton and Marcus Wareing, with several Michelin stars knocking about between them to terrify the cooks.

Then it’s back to the studio for the last time where Ulrika, Angellica and Dev must cook a faultless three-course meal for John and Gregg.

Marvel at the amazing food, bite your fingernails down with tension – but expect a cracking finale as a reward for your dedicated viewing over the weeks.
