KING ARTHUR: LEGEND OF THE SWORD

-

Cert 12

Digital and disc Monday Director Guy Ritchie imagines King Arthur as a cockney hard case in this humdrum fantasy adventure. Full of spectacular design, magical beasts and battles, it was aimed to appeal to fans of TV’s Games of Thrones – but without all the fun nudity and sex. Charlie Hunnam displays a remarkable lack of charisma, though he does magically pull a sword from the stone. His second trick was to turn Warners Bros budget of £130million into £106m at the box office.
