X Factor hunk lost 7st after ‘too fat’ flop
X FACTOR contender Spencer Sutherland lost seven stone in a year after failing an audition because he was too fat.
The 25-year-old hunk was a 19-stone teenager when he was told his voice was perfect but “you don’t fit the image”.
Spencer said: “I started running and lifting weights, I’d eat really healthily. It took about a year and I lost over 100lb.”
The Ohio-born hopeful, who has sung with Ariana Grande, said it made him a hit with the girls at school.
He said: “I went back for my senior year and all these girls gave me attention. It is the coolest thing – I know it sounds shallow.”
