A little‘Thank You’ goes a long way

This week’s moments of gratitude...

-

This month we’re partnering with Cadbury Roses to help encourage readers to say more ‘Thank Yous’ to more people, more often.

After all, it can be easy to forget how important it is to say ‘Thank You’ to someone!

To act as a little reminder, we’re keeping an eye out for good news stories where we think there is an exceptionally good reason to thank someone… Officially voted the UK’s favourite animal, hedgehogs owe a big debt of gratitude to Ailie Hill – and we think a box of Cadbury Roses would be the perfect reward for her.

Ailie, 43, has saved more than 500 hedgehogs while tirelessly campaigning to raise awareness of the dangers they face. She runs Pricklebums Hedgehog Rescue from her home in Ludlow, Shropshire. It is self-funded and supported by five volunteers and her local vet. Daddy-daughter duo David and Harper Beckham nipped into a florist for a gorgeous bouquet while wife and mum Victoria waited in the Bentley – a ‘Thank You’ for Mrs B? Six-year-old Harper is undoubtedly the apple of her dad’s eye, and the pair seemed very happy choosing flowers together in London on Sunday. David was at pains to consult his daughter before deciding on just the right blooms – roses – to be carried back to the car. As Victoria launched herself into London Fashion Week, it may be that the time was just right for a little personal token which speaks volumes about how much she’s loved by her family.
