Security guards outnumbered the 15 or so customers waiting at the flagship London store. Buyer Salam Bin Mohammed, 24, from Stratford, East London, blamed the poor show on iPhone X going on sale next month. He said: “Every year there’s a massive queue. I think people are waiting for the iPhone X.”
Apple insisted the queue was small because of the high number of orders placed online.
