CARE SCARE TALK
DANNY CARE has become the latest England star to warn rugby’s blazers not to increase the players’ workload.
The scrum-half (left) goes head-to-head with Red Rose rival Ben Youngs today when Harlequins play Leicester in front of Eddie Jones.
Care said: “The boys are getting bigger, the game’s getting quicker and more physical. The thought of the season being even longer is really quite a scary one.”
Billy Vunipola, Joe Marler and players’ union boss Damian Hopley have already raised the possibility of strike action if the players’ voices are not heard.
