SIMS: I’LL BE BACK IN PACK

-

Warrington v Hull KR Super 8s qualifier, KO 3pm ASHTON SIMS would love to return to Warrington – as a Toronto Wolfpack player in Super League.

The front-rower plays his final match for the Wolves today against Hull KR ahead of his switch to the Canadian club, who will play in the Championship next season.

And Sims says the ultimate goal would be to take on his former teammates in the top flight.

“That’s the goal, the light at the end of the tunnel,” he said. “But there’s a lot of little steps first that I want to achieve with Toronto, both on and off the field. And first I want to finish on a high with Warrington.

“I’ve really enjoyed my time at the club, even though this year hasn’t gone to plan. I’ve been proud to wear the primrose and blue, but now I’m looking forward to the next part of my life and the next adventure in this journey of rugby league.”
