Vard work for Reds

JAMIE VARDY has been backed to be Liverpool’s ‘bogeyman’ again tonight.

The Reds were dumped out of the EFL Cup at the King Power in midweek. Striker Vardy (above) did not play but returns today.

He has scored five goals in his last three top-flight matches against Liverpool.

And Foxes boss Craig Shakespeare said: “I am hoping so,” when asked if Vardy was the Reds’ ‘bogeyman’. “But you can’t go out with the attitude that I always score against these – you have to put the leg work in.”
