Hammers have it all to do to stop Harry

-

DERBY day passion, Part One – Hammers and Spurs.

Last season, Tottenham went to West Ham on the back of nine consecutive wins in the Premier League, came unstuck at the 10th hurdle, and their title challenge expired. This year Spurs have yet to hit their stride as Wembley tenants but they have been lethal on the road, scoring 18 goals in their last four away games alone.

And Harry Kane’s record of 19 goals in London derbies suggests the Hammers may have their work cut out to repeat their surprise 1-0 win in May.

DERBY day passion, Part Two – Steel City.

I have never had the pleasure of being at the Wednesday-United derby in Sheffield, although I can remember their FA Cup semi-final at Wembley in 1993 was a massive day out for the city.

But people tell me it’s one of the loudest, and most passionate, rivalries anywhere in the country, and both clubs can make the play-offs.

If the earth moves in south Yorkshire on Sunday lunchtime, you’ll know who to blame.
