ALBION’S HANDY MURRAY
CHRIS HUGHTON is backing striker Glenn Murray to prove he can cut it in the Premier League.
Murray, 34 on Monday, was prolific in the Championship and top scorer as Brighton went up.
But his first stint in the top flight with Crystal Palace was ruined by a knee injury and he scored just three times in a year at Bournemouth in 2015.
Murray (left) is set to return from ankle trouble tomorrow against Newcastle and boss Hughton said: “It’s more difficult to score at Premier League level than in the Championship, but Glenn has always had a knack of being able to do that.”
